Privacy Policy

PlayHaus (PLAYHAUSUK LTD, Company No. 15926615) is committed to handling your personal information with discretion and care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
When you apply for membership or buy a ticket, we may collect your name, email address, age confirmation, and answers you provide on our membership application form, which can include details about your interests, values and identity.
Why we collect it
We use this information to assess membership applications, manage event bookings, communicate with you about PlayHaus experiences, and keep our community safe and consent-led.
Lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of consent (for membership applications and marketing communications) and legitimate interest (for event administration and safety). Where application answers reveal special category data, such as sexuality or gender identity, we only process this with your explicit consent and treat it with additional care.
How long we keep it
Approved member data is kept for as long as your membership remains active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Unsuccessful applications are deleted after 90 days unless you ask to remain on our waiting list.
Where it’s stored
Application data is collected via Tally and stored using standard cloud-based business tools. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
- Ask us about how a specific decision affecting you was made
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@playhausuk.com.
Access
Access to applicant and member data is limited to PlayHaus founders and team members who need it to carry out their role.
Photography and social media
We never show faces in content we share on our social media. Before any photo or video featuring a recognisable guest is posted, we always ask that individual directly whether they're happy to have their face shown. If you would prefer not to be photographed at all, let our team know on the night and we will respect that.

Policy
Safeguarding Policy
Last reviewed: 30 June 2026
The wellbeing of every member and guest matters to us. This policy explains how we approach safety before, during and after a PlayHaus experience.
Before an event
Every member is vetted through our application process. We look for alignment with our values of consent, discretion, curiosity and respect before anyone is approved to attend a PlayHaus experience.
During an event
A dedicated welfare team is present throughout each experience. SIA-licensed security is in place at applicable venues. If you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or need support at any point, you can approach a member of our welfare team directly.
Vulnerable persons
If you have any concerns about your own wellbeing or that of another guest, including signs of distress, intoxication beyond a safe level, or non-consensual behaviour, please raise this with our on-site team immediately.
Reporting a concern
Concerns can be raised on the night with our team, or afterwards by emailing info@playhausuk.com. All reports are treated confidentially and taken seriously.
Incident response
Where a concern or incident is reported, PlayHaus will review what happened, speak to those involved where appropriate, and take action proportionate to the situation. This can include a warning, removal from an event, or suspension of membership.

Guidelines
Consent & Community Guidelines
Last reviewed: 30 June 2026
PlayHaus exists because consent, discretion and respect are non-negotiable. These guidelines set the standard every member and guest agrees to when they join us.
Consent
Consent is enthusiastic, ongoing and can be withdrawn at any time. No one is owed attention, touch or intimacy simply by being in the room. Asking first is always the standard, and “no” is a complete sentence.
Privacy and discretion
What happens at PlayHaus stays at PlayHaus. Do not photograph, record, or share the identity of any member or guest without their explicit permission. Discretion protects everyone’s ability to show up freely.
Boundaries
Respect the stated and unstated limits of everyone around you. If you are unsure whether something is welcome, ask. Pressuring, persuading or guilting someone into changing their answer is not acceptable.
No harassment
Unwanted attention, touching, photographing or following another guest is not tolerated. This applies on the night and afterwards.
Consequences for breaches
Breaches of these guidelines can result in removal from an event without refund, suspension or termination of membership, and exclusion from future PlayHaus experiences.

Policy
Event Terms & Refund Policy
Last reviewed: 30 June 2026
These terms apply to all PlayHaus ticketed events.
Refunds and transfers
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the case of event cancellation by PlayHaus, in which case a refund will be offered.
Cancellation
If PlayHaus needs to cancel or postpone an event, we will notify ticket holders as soon as possible by email and offer a refund or transfer to a future date.
Arrival
Please arrive within the stated doors and last entry window. Guests arriving after last entry may be refused entry without refund.
Dress code
Each event has its own dress code, communicated in advance. Guests not meeting the dress code may be refused entry.
Refusal of entry
PlayHaus reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who has not completed our membership or guest approval process, appears intoxicated to an unsafe level, or whose behaviour is reasonably believed to put the safety or comfort of others at risk.
Phones and photography
Phones, cameras and recording devices are not permitted at our play parties. This protects the privacy and discretion of every guest in the room. At socials, we encourage guests to put phones away and stay present, though this is not strictly enforced in the same way.
Member and guest access
Our socials are open to non-members as an introduction to PlayHaus. Our play parties, including immersive and sensory experiences, are reserved for approved members and invited guests only.
Behaviour expectations
All guests are expected to follow our Consent & Community Guidelines throughout the event. A dedicated welfare team is present at every event and can be approached directly with any concerns.
