Before you apply

Is PlayHaus a sex-positive private members club?

Yes. PlayHaus is a sex-positive private members club. Our experiences vary, from socials and workshops to more sensual, immersive events. Consent, discretion and respect are central to everything we do.

Do I need to be a member to attend?

It depends on the experience. Our socials are open to non-members as a way to meet us and get a feel for PlayHaus before applying. Our play parties, including immersive and sensory experiences, are for approved members and invited guests only.

Are phones allowed?

Phones, cameras and recording devices are not permitted at our play parties, this protects the privacy and discretion of everyone in the room. At socials, we encourage guests to put phones away and stay present, though this is not strictly enforced in the same way.

Is there support on the night if I need it?

Yes. A dedicated welfare team is present throughout every PlayHaus event. You can approach them at any point if you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or simply need a moment of support.

Will I be photographed for your social media?

We never show faces in content we post. Before any photo or video is shared on our social media, we always ask the individuals involved whether they're comfortable having their face shown. If you'd rather not be photographed at all, just let our team know on the night.

Is the membership fee refundable?

Membership fees are non-refundable once approved and processed.

Can I attend alone?

Yes. Many members attend alone. Our experiences are designed to encourage connection in a safe and considered way.

What is the dress code?

Each experience has its own dress code. Guests are expected to dress with intention and follow the guidance provided for each event.

How is my privacy protected?

We do not share, sell or publicise the identities of our members or attendees. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.

What about accessibility?

We want PlayHaus experiences to feel considered and accessible where possible. If you have access needs, sensory needs or mobility requirements, please contact us before attending so we can advise on the venue and available support. Read our Accessibility Statement.

If you would prefer not to be photographed at all, let our team know on the night and we will respect that.

Safeguarding Policy

Last reviewed: 30 June 2026

The wellbeing of every member and guest matters to us. This policy explains how we approach safety before, during and after a PlayHaus experience.

Before an event

Every member is vetted through our application process. We look for alignment with our values of consent, discretion, curiosity and respect before anyone is approved to attend a PlayHaus experience.

During an event

A dedicated welfare team is present throughout each experience. SIA-licensed security is in place at applicable venues. If you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or need support at any point, you can approach a member of our welfare team directly.

Vulnerable persons

If you have any concerns about your own wellbeing or that of another guest, including signs of distress, intoxication beyond a safe level, or non-consensual behaviour, please raise this with our on-site team immediately.

Reporting a concern

Concerns can be raised on the night with our team, or afterwards by emailing info@playhausuk.com. All reports are treated confidentially and taken seriously.

Incident response

Where a concern or incident is reported, PlayHaus will review what happened, speak to those involved where appropriate, and take action proportionate to the situation. This can include a warning, removal from an event, or suspension of membership.
